Completing Reviews & Placements

How to complete your curator work and submit it for artist review.

The Completion Flow

After an artist accepts your offer, you'll see the booking in your dashboard. For each curator channel in the booking, you need to:

  1. Write a Song Review (minimum 50 characters)
  2. Add a Proof URL — Link to the playlist, blog post, or page where the song is featured
  3. Check "Added to Channel" — Confirm you've placed the song

Step-by-Step

1. Open Your Booking

  1. Go to your Influencer Dashboard
  2. Find the booking in "Approved" or "In Progress"
  3. Click to open the completion drawer

2. Complete Each Channel

For each curator channel in the booking:

  • Song Review — Write a thoughtful review of the track. This is shared with the artist and should be at least 50 characters. Think of it as your professional take on the song.
  • Proof URL — Paste a link showing the song on your channel (e.g., Spotify playlist link, blog post URL)
  • "Added to Channel" Checkbox — Check this to confirm the song has been added

3. Submit Your Work

Once all channels are completed, click "Submit". The artist will be notified to review your work.

Hybrid Bookings

If your booking includes both social media platforms and curator channels:

  • Submit social media work the same way as regular influencer submissions (post link + optional comments)
  • Submit curator work through the curator completion section (song review + proof URL + checkbox)
  • Both must be completed before the booking moves to "Final Review"

Artist Review Process

After you submit, the artist reviews each channel individually:

Approve

The artist approves your placement — this channel is complete.

Request Changes

The artist may request revisions with specific feedback. You'll see their notes and can resubmit.

Revision limits: Artists can request up to 2 revisions per channel. After that, the booking goes to 50/50 resolution.

Auto-Approval

If the artist doesn't review within 48 hours, your work is automatically approved and you get paid.

Writing Great Song Reviews

Your song review is a key deliverable. Tips for writing reviews that get approved:

  • Be genuine — Share your honest opinion about the track
  • Be specific — Mention what you liked about the production, lyrics, or vibe
  • Be professional — Even if the song isn't your favorite, find constructive things to say
  • Meet the minimum — Reviews must be at least 50 characters, but longer is usually better

After Approval

Once the artist approves all channels (or the 48-hour timer expires):

  1. Payment is released to your Stripe Connect account
  2. You receive a confirmation email
  3. The booking moves to "Completed" in your dashboard

See Getting Paid as a Curator for payment details.
